Meatstick News: Running In Seattle

I typically run between 30-50 miles a week at about 10 different places here in the Seattle area. In the last month 2 people have been killed and 1 person is currently missing at 3 of those 10 places:
These events are unrelated and I'm not sure what I can learn from each one. However, it is a good time to remind people to please pay attention to bikers and runners when you are driving:

Here's what you can learn:

Keep aware of your surroundings and watch out for cars driven by kids who are probably text messaging while smoking a cigarette at the same time.

Don't piss off anyone who owns a gun.

And *Cougar* Mountain? Christ, Danny, you graduated from West Point. You're a smart kid. What more do you need to know?

Pick a sport that isn't life threatening. How bout that?

OK on runners, I'll give them a little space on the road, but not them damn bikers! They think they own the road - but, I don't see any license on their little fenders - some don't even have fenders! Nope, runners get the ok -but, bikers - nope.
